The Maze is a Clow Card with the power to create elaborate labyrinths. It is aligned under The Earthy.
It is also one of the original nineteen cards from the manga series.
Appearance[]
Maze is normally invisible from the outside, but from the inside, it resembles an expansive, multi-dimensional, green maze with upside-down staircases and impossible perspectives.
As a Sakura Card in the manga, a star-shape space is imbued into its structure.
Personality[]
Maze traps people and forces them into a game of finding their way out. Maze appears to dislike cheaters, as it was seen distorting itself to prevent Sakura from flying out or using Sword to cut through its walls. However, a person with enough magic can break through Maze successfully, as demonstrated by Kaho Mizuki.
Magic and Abilities[]
Maze Magic: Maze can distort the space around it and entrap people in a pocket dimension of its own design and making.
Fortune Telling: All Clow Cards have the ability to help their user predict the future. Their method of fortune-telling is similar to that of tarot cards. The interpretation of the message the Clow Cards relay depends on the magical power of the user.

Synopsis[]
Capture[]
In Episode 26 of the anime, Maze is the first Clow Card that Sakura and Syaoran are unable to conquer on their own. Kaho Mizuki save them using the Moon Bell, which was able to break through Maze's walls. As a result, the card recognizes Kaho as its master and initially goes to her. Kaho, however, gives it to Sakura, who takes ownership by signing her name on the card.
Transformation[]
Maze is transformed in Episode 66 of the anime/Volume 10 (Chapter 40) of the manga, when it was used in conjunction with The Illusion to create a three-dimensional version of the planetarium exhibit at Touya's high school fair, in order to cover Sakura's tracks while she undertook one of Eriol's magical trials.[1]
